SI.com is reporting that Executive Director Keith Kizer told them that under the year-round drug testing policy, Tito Ortiz, Sean Sherk and BJ Penn have all been tested and cleared three-weeks away from UFC 84.
The policy was passed last January by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. It should be noted that the UFC will also have the random drug testing that they have for their events as well.
Sherk is coming off of suspension for testing positive after his fight with Hermes Franca at UFC 73 nearly ten months ago.
BJ Penn will be defend his newly won UFC Lightweight Title against Sherk in the main-event of the night, while Ortiz will be in his final match for the UFC against undefeated Light Heavyweight Lyoto Machida.
