Featherweight Tournament Highlights Bellator’s Three-Part Summer Series

Bellator Featherweight Champ Joe Warren

Bellator Fighting Championships will host a three-part event this summer on MTV2. Bellator’s Summer Series will feature a Featherweight Tournament showcasing many of the world’s top 145-pounders. 

“We experienced tremendous success with MTV2 in our last season, and can’t wait to get our Summer Series going, starting with Bellator 46 in Hollywood, Florida,” said Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney. “We’ve got some absolutely stacked cards coming up this summer, and what is sure to be a spectacular fifth season is right around the corner.”

Saturday, June 25th at 9PM ET/PT:

Bellator’s Summer Series kicks off this Saturday from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Bellator 46 will feature four featherweight quarterfinal fights. Bellator 42 winner Ronnie Mann, Brazilian knockout artist Marlon Sandro, submission specialist Nazareno Malegarie and Bellator Season 2 Lightweight Tournament Winner Pat Curran all scheduled to participate.

Saturday, July 23rd at 9PM ET/PT:

Bellator will be debuting in Rama, Ontario, at the Casino Rama. Bellator featherweight champ Joe Warren (pictured) takes on Season 4 Tournament winner Patricio Pitbull. The fight card also includes the semifinals of the Bellator Featherweight Summer Series Tournament.

Saturday, August 20th at 9PM ET/PT:

Bellator 48 takes place from Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The show will feature the finals of the Bellator Featherweight Summer Series Tournament.
