According to MMAPrime, Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos will be forced to pull out of his shootout against Paul Daley after suffering a shoulder injury. The welterweights were scheduled to dance July 30th at “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson.”

The contest was believed to have some sort of title implications tied to it after Nick Diaz vacated his 170-pound Strikeforce belt to challenge UFC champ Georges St-Pierre for his hardware.

Strikeforce is currently scouring the globe to find a suitable replacement. The first name that comes to mind is fast-rising Tyron Woodley. The 29-year-old owns a perfect 8-0 resume and his calendar is currently clear.

“Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson” takes place inside the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Showtime will broadcast the main bouts at 10PM ET/PT.

Here are the athletes rumored to participate in the star-studded card:

Paul Daley vs. TBD

Scott Smith vs. Tarec Saffiedine

Roger Gracie vs. Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal

Tim Kennedy vs. Robbie Lawler

Miesha Tate vs. Marloes Coenen (Women’s Welterweight Champion)

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Dan Henderson (Heavyweight Bout)
