The Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission has suspended five “UFC on Versus 4: Kongo vs. Barry” fighters for various injuries sustained in their respective scraps this past Sunday.
Heavyweight Pat Barry will be forced to ride the pine for 60 days following his vicious knockout loss to Cheick Kongo in the night’s main event.
Christian Morecraft and Nik Lentz were each issued the same ban. Morecraft was put to sleep in the 2ndRound by Matt Mitrione, while Lentz ate an illegal knee to the face from Charles Oliveira. The strike may have broken his right eye socket.
The event took place inside the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
