UFC Middleweight Ed Herman

According to TheDailyTelegraph, an undisclosed injury has forced Tom Lawlor out of his middleweight bout against Kyle Noke at “UFC on Versus 5.” The Octagon show waits for no man, as the Australian news outlet announced Ed Herman has agreed to play substitute on August 14th.

Herman was seen last month putting Tim Credeur down “The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale.” The 1stRound TKO victory bumped his professional record to 22-9.

Noke, on the other hand, will be riding a six-fight winning streak into his showdown with Herman. He most recently submitted Chris Camozzi at UFC 127.

A welterweight shootout between Dan Hardy and Chris Lytle will take top billing. A critical lightweight contest between Jim Miller and former WEC champion Ben Henderson will serve as the night’s co-featured contest.

The Bradley Center in Milwaukee will host the Octagon’s debut in Wisconsin. Versus will broadcast the main bouts live starting at 9PM ET/6PM PT.

Here is the show’s revised roster:
