Twelve bouts have been confirmed for the Octagon’s long awaited return to the City of Brotherly Love. “The Ultimate Fighter 11” contestant Costantinos Phillippou and Rafael Natal were last-minute additions to “UFC 133: Evans vs. Davis.”
The show jumps off August 6th inside the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The pay-per-view broadcast will be headlined by a light heavyweight scrap between former champ Rashad Evans and fast-rising star Phil Davis. A 205-pound affair with Rich Franklin and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will serve as the night’s co-featured contest.
MMA icons Vitor Belfort and Yoshihiro Akiyama will take third-to-last billing, so the lineup certainly has depth.
