Sherdog is reporting that Nick Diaz’ trainer Cesar Gracie told them that Nick Diaz will be, “pulling an all-nighter cutting weight,” and that he will be fighting Katsuya Inoue on May 11th. It was originally reported on GracieFighter that Diaz would be fighting Inoue, but days later the fight was in jeporady as EliteXC President Gary Shaw was unaware of the fight and was going to pull the plug.

Now according to Gracie, Diaz has ProElite CEO Doug DeLuca to be thankful to as he is the one that has allowed Diaz to compete at DREAM.3 on May 11th.

DeLuca feels that Diaz got a raw deal from the California State Atheletic Commission and feels that he deserves to have this fight even though it could hurt his own June 14th card in Hawaii.

Gracie is still skeptical about the fight taking place as he told Sherdog, “I won’t really believe it until he is on the plane tomorrow morning heading to Japan.”
