It is being reported that a middleweight bout between Dan Miller and “The Ultimate Fighter 7” runner-up C.B. Dollaway will be taking place at “UFC Fight Night 19” inside the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
MMAMadness.com was the first to report the potential September 19th match-up, however as of this morning no official word from the organization regarding the scrap.
Miller, a former IFL middleweight champion, came to the UFC in 2008 and immediately made an impact by posting three straight victories over the likes of Rob Kimmons, Matt Horwich and Jake Rosholt. However, his nine-fight winning streak was abruptly brought to a halt after Chael Sonnen pulled out a unanimous decision victory over him at UFC 98.
After losing to Amir Sadollah at “TUFC 7 Finale” in June of 2008, Dollaway rebounded nicely by posting back-to-back 1stRound finishes over Jesse Taylor and Mike Massenzio, receptively.
However, Dollaway was humbled at UFC 100 after Tom Lawlor caught him with a sick guillotine choke which ended their bout after just 55 seconds.
The Spike TV broadcast will be headlined by a lightweight battle between Nate Diaz and Melvin Guillard. Here are the other contestants slated to be competing in the night’s event:
