Bellator Fighting Championships’ Summer Series continues at “Bellator 47” when the promotion makes its Canadian debut from inside Casino Rama. Speaking of premieres, once-promising lightweight Chris Horodecki makes his first fight for Bellator when he faces Chris Saunders in the July 23rd show.
Horodecki owns a respectable 17-3 professional record and is still just 23-years-young. “The Polish Hammer” went 2-2 in the WEC, but wasn’t offered a UFC contract when the company collapsed.
“Fighting for a promotion like Bellator in front of my friends and family is just a dream come true,” said Horodecki. “I had a great fight at Casino Rama back in April, and I’m just looking to build off that at Bellator 47.”
MTV2 will broadcast the main bouts. A pair of Featherweight Tournament semifinal bouts will headline the event.
