It is being reported that a knee injury will force UFC veteran Chris Lytle out of his “UFC Fight Night 19” bout against Carlos Condit.
Lytle’s manager, Ken Pavia, told MMAjunkie.com that “The Ultimate Fighter 4” runner-up tore his meniscus and has a blown ACL.
Lytle has alternated between wins and losses over his last seven scraps, all coming within the Octagon cages. He boasts a 27-17-5 professional record, including his most recent win over Kevin Burns at “The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale” this past June.
Pavia stated Lytle will be examined further by a specialist to determine a timeline for his return.
UFC FN 19 takes place inside the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and will serve as the lead-in for the highly anticipated debut episode of “The Ultimate Fighter 10.”
