After much anticipation, the official event poster for “UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami” has finally been released. We won’t give the Octagon’s graphics department too much grief for the billboard’s delayed release, as they were abruptly put under the gun late last week to remake the ad for “UFC 133: Evans vs. Ortiz.”
The UFC’s long-awaited return to Brazil takes place August 27th inside the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro. As depicted above, a middleweight title fight between champion Anderson Silva and Yushin Okami will headline the fiesta.
Former light heavyweight champs Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Forrest Griffin rematch in the night’s co-featured contest, while a heavyweight affair between Brendan Schaub and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will take third-to-last billing in the lineup.
The pay-per-view broadcast will air live in North America at beginning 9PM ET/6PM PT.
