UFC Brittney Palmer

After seven months of devoted and dedicated service, it appears the UFC has decided to say goodbye to Octagon girl Brittney Palmer. The ring card carrier was promoted to the UFC after the WEC permanently closed their doors last December.

The rumor mill had been buzzing over the last couple of weeks regarding a potential split, but as of Tuesday no official announcement had been made by either party. However, Palmer’s profile has just been deleted from UFC.com.

Her removal from the company’s official website comes on the heels of some cryptic tweets the hottie has posted over the last several days:

“Holy [expletive] this is starting to get scary. My luck is tragic”

“…Stuck in Colorado for 8 hours.. My luck is fantastic lately”

“Thanks for all the good luck wishes! I’m figuring it all out. Life is full of surprises. This will definitely keep me grounded. Over and out.”

Palmer kicked off 2011 in style, as she made her big league debut at “UFC 125: Resolution” this past New Year’s Day. Unfortunately for the card toting vixen, her last official show went down earlier this month at “UFC 132: Cruz vs. Faber II.”

No word if/when the world’s premier mixed martial arts promotion will seek a replacement. Is it possible Strikeforce queen bee Kelli Hutcherson will be getting called up from the bullpen now?

According to White, Palmer hasn’t been released by the UFC:

“…we didn’t get rid of @brittneypalmer so quit listening to hack websites and [expletive] relax.”

“these websites love to report [expletive] without facts!!”

Prior to White’s post, Palmer tweeted:

“Here is an idea let’s start talking about my calendar I’m shooting today! Sooo excited.”
