With exactly 11 days remaining until showtime, Bobby Green has agreed to replace Lyle Beerbohm in his lightweight bout against Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante at “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson.” The event takes place inside the Sears Center in Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Strikeforce confirmed the swap on their official website. No word on why Beerbohm was forced off the card at the 11th hour.

Green holds a 15-4 professional record, including seven knockouts and six submissions. He was last seen posting a unanimous decision win over Dom O’Grady at “KOTC: Moral Victory” this past April.

JZ’s record hit 15-4-1 (2 NC) following his accidental eye poke on Justin Wilcox at “Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum.” Although he collected his second ‘No Contest’ of his career in last month’s scrap, twelve of his victories have ended via devastating finish.

Their 155-pound affair will not appear in the Showtime broadcast, which airs at 10PM ET/PT. Still no word if HDNet will once again televise all of the preliminary bouts live. The high definition network did so for ‘Overeem vs. Werdum’.

A heavyweight blockbuster between Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson will headline the July 30th extravaganza.

Here is the card’s revised roster:

Preliminary Bouts:

Bryan Humes vs. Gabriel Salinas-Jones

Derek Brunson vs. Lumumba Sayers

Julie Kedzie vs. Alexis Davis

Eduardo Pamplona vs. Tyler Stinson

Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante vs. Bobby Green

Paul Daley vs. Tyron Woodley

Tim Kennedy vs. Robbie Lawler

Miesha Tate vs. Marloes Coenen (Women’s Welterweight Champion)
