UFC Light Heavyweight Jon Jones

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson kicked off the UFC 135 pre-fight festivities with a bang by exchanging pleasantries during last week’s press conference. Now that the hoopla train has officially left the station, the Gambling Gods decided to get in on the action by releasing the early betting lines for their upcoming title tilt.

Jones owns a practically perfect 13-1 record, demolishing nearly every 205-pounder that has dared to cross his path. The 24-year-old was last seen taking Mauricio “Shogun” Rua’s crown at UFC 128.

Rampage bumped his professional record to 32-8 following his decision victory over Matt Hamill at UFC 130. The former light heavyweight champ has rattled off two straight victories since dropping a unanimous decision loss to Rashad Evans at UFC 114.

Jones enters the first title defense of his budding career as a whopping 5-to-1 favorite, while Rampage checks in as a 3.5-to-1 underdog.

UFC 135 takes place September 24th inside the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
