According to multiple media outlets, a bantamweight battle between Scott Jorgensen (Pictured) and Jeff Curran has been added to “UFC 137: St-Pierre vs. Diaz” on October 29th.
Jorgensen owns a 12-4 professional record and was last seen knocking out Ken Stone at “The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale.” The 135-pounder has been victorious in five out of his last six outings, with his lone blemish during the run coming in a championship affair against Dominick Cruz.
Curran hasn’t fought for the UFC since posting a decision loss to Matt Serra at UFC 46 back in early 2004. After leaving the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization, Curran went on to win 15 of his next 16 scraps. Unfortunately for “The Big Frog,” he then lost four consecutive WEC contests.
He’s won four of his last five fights since his tenure with the WEC.
