Top heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko

After much anticipation, “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson” is finally upon us. Unfortunately for those looking to cash in on tonight’s fights inside the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, the Gambling Gods have not released the event’s complete set of investment options. Perhaps they too are still dumbfounded about Alistair Overeem’s abrupt firing late Friday night.

In any case, the betting boat waits for nothing. The lines for the card’s main bouts have been updated, and it appears a trimmed down Fedor Emelianenko has swayed the opinions of the powers that be.

Emelianenko was a 2-to-1 favorite earlier this week against Dan Henderson, but after seeing the Russian at yesterday’s official weigh-ins, his line has jumped to -260.

Henderson will enter the cage as a 2-to-1 underdog.

For those of you looking to get in on the fight between women’s welterweight champion Marloes Coenen and Miesha Tate, you might as well flip a coin if you’re on the fence. Both ladies check in at -115.

Showtime will broadcast tonight’s main bouts at 10PM ET/PT.
