What would the week be without an injury affecting an Octagon fight card? On Tuesday afternoon, it was reported Leonard Garcia would be forced out of his “UFC on Versus 5” contest against Alex Caceres with an undisclosed injury.

As MMA fans know fully well by now, the show must go on. Newly signed Jim Hettes has agreed to make his big league debut against “Bruce Leroy” in the August 14th event.

“Hettes is undefeated as a pro and has finished all opponents by submission. Caceres has also never gone the distance. Both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout,” said UFC president Dana White.

A welterweight shootout between Dan Hardy and Chris Lytle will headline the Versus broadcast, while a pivotal 155-pound contest between Jim Miller and former WEC champ Ben Henderson will serve as the night’s co-featured contest.

The event takes place inside the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Versus will broadcast the main bouts live at 9PM ET/6PM PT.
