After a spectacular night of freebie MMA action, UFC president Dana White awarded Chris Lytle, Dan Hardy and Donald Cerrone with Fight Night bonuses. Each commission was worth $65,000, but Lytle double-dipped and took home ‘Fight of the Night’ and ‘Submission of the Night’ honors Sunday night at “UFC on Versus 5: Hardy vs. Lytle.”
The lovin’ didn’t stop there for “Lights Out,” as Harley-Davidson also chipped in to give Lytle a Blackline motorcycle for his 3rdRound guillotine choke of Hardy in the night’s featured attraction.
The 36-year-old announced his retirement from mixed martial arts at yesterday’s weigh-ins. He ends his 20-fight Octagon career with a total of 10 Fight Night bonuses.
Cerrone viciously put down the up-and-coming Charles Oliveira in the 1stRound of their lightweight scrap to earn ‘Knockout of the Night.’
“UFC on Versus 5: Hardy vs. Lytle” took place inside Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
