“UFC on Versus 5: Hardy vs. Lytle” Medical Suspension Issued

The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services has medically suspended 13 athletes that competed in “UFC on Versus 5: Hardy vs. Lytle” this past Sunday. Each fighter either received a 30-day ban or an indefinite suspension for injuries sustained in their respective scraps.

The roster’s most notable suspension was lightweight Jim Miller (Pictured). After getting trounced by Ben Henderson in the night’s co-main event, the 155-pounder will be forced to indefinitely sit the sidelines until obtaining a physical exam and CT scan.

UFC on Versus 5 took place inside the Bradley Center in Milwaukee and was headlined by a welterweight bout between Chris Lytle and Dan Hardy.

Jason Reinhardt – Received a 30-day mandatory medical rest period.

TJ O’Brien – Received an indefinite suspension due to rib and leg injuries.

Cole Miller – Received a 30-day medical rest period due to a right hand injury.

Alex Caceres – Received a 30-day mandatory medical rest period.

Jimy Hettes – Received a 30-day medical rest period due to a head laceration.

Kyle Noke – Received an indefinite suspension and must get an MRI on his knee before competing again.

CB Dollaway – Received an indefinite suspension and must get a neurological exam and CT scan before competing again.

Amir Sadollah – Received an indefinite suspension and must get a neurological exam and CT scan before competing again.

Duane Ludwig – Received an indefinite suspension and must get a physical exam and CT scan before competing again. He must also get his right hand x-rayed.

Charles Oliveira – Received a 30-day medical rest period and must get an x-ray of his left elbow.

Jim Miller – Received an indefinite suspension and must get a physical exam and CT scan before competing again.

Ben Henderson – Received a 30-day medical rest period and must get an x-ray of his left elbow.

Dan Hardy – Received a 30-day mandatory medical rest period.
