While most of the MMA world is preoccupied with what’s going on over in Brazil for UFC 134, it doesn’t mean the planet’s biggest mixed martial arts organization has stopped working on their next show.
“UFC Fight Night 25: Battle on the Bayou” takes place September 17th inside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. A 12th and final bout featuring Jorge Lopez and Justin Edwards has just been added to the lineup.
A critical welterweight scrap between Jake Shields and Jake Ellenberger will headline the UFC’s second-to-last fight card on Spike TV. A middleweight contest with “The Ultimate Fighter 11” winner Court McGee and Dongi Yang will serve as the card’s co-featured contest.
Spike will broadcast the event’s four main bouts starting at 9PM ET/PT. Still no word if the UFC’s Facebook page will provide a live stream of the preliminary fights, but it’s highly likely they will keep their streak going.
