“UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami” took place this past Saturday inside the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Because the show was held outside of North American soil, there was no governing body that had direct authority to oversee the event. However, the UFC employed an expert staff of regulators and physicians to ensure top-notch standards were met.
Of all the main card contestants, Forrest Griffin (Pictured) will require the most attention in order to have his medical suspension lifted. The former light heavyweight champ must have his right foot and jaw cleared by doctor, otherwise he will be banned for 180 days.
