UFC on Fox news once again dominated the MMA world with the formal announcement that Cain Velasquez will be defending his UFC heavyweight title for the first time against Junior dos Santos on free TV.

It was believed the title clash would headline a future UFC pay-per-view event, but both fighters agreed that their pivotal bout should be featured during the promotion’s network debut.

Former champion Brock Lesnar is also preparing for a return as Dana White shot down rumors of a potential retirement.
