Strikeforce Nick Diaz

After getting pulled from his UFC 137 title fight against welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre on Wednesday afternoon, Nick Diaz (Pictured) finally emerged from seclusion and released a brief video to explain his whereabouts … sort of.

Unfortunately for those wanting to hear Diaz’s side of the story, the controversial grappler didn’t offer up much information. Although, he did refer to the promotional press conferences that he missed as “beauty pageants.”

Once again, Diaz professed his love for wanting to make money and willingness to fight anybody. However, during today’s presser that Diaz abandoned, his second one in as many days, UFC president Dana White claimed Mr. 209 was set to stack more chips from this single event than he has in his entire career.

Carlos Condit will now challenge GSP for his crown on October 29th inside the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
