Matt Hughes’ opponent for UFC 135 may have changed, but the chances of the former welterweight champion leaving the Pepsi Center in Denver certainly didn’t. In fact, his odds got much worse.
Hughes was already a significant underdog against original nemesis Diego Sanchez, and is now facing even longer odds of collecting a victory since Josh Koscheck has agreed to play substitute.
Koscheck enters the pivotal matchup as nearly a 4-to-1 favorite, while Hughes checks in as almost a 3-to-1 long shot.
UFC 135 takes place September 24th in Denver. The 170-pound affair will serve as the pay-per-view’s co-featured attraction.
