UFC Welterweight Jake Ellenberger

Two of the biggest underdogs pulled through this past weekend at “Strikeforce HW GP Semifinals,” so it’s understandable why long shot lovers across the globe are already looking forward to this Saturday’s “UFC Fight Night 25: Battle on the Bayou” event.

Jake Ellenberger (Pictured) enters the biggest fight of his life as a +160 underdog, while opponent Jake Shields will step into the Octagon as a 2-to-1 favorite.

The only other line currently available is the middleweight bout between Alan Belcher and Jason MacDonald. Interestingly, Belcher is nearly a 3-to-1 odds-on favorite despite the fact his last fight was over 16 months ago.

The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana will host this weekend’s show. SpikeTV will broadcast the card’s main bouts beginning at 9PM ET/6PM PT.

Here are the available wagering lines for Saturday (Courtesy of Bodog):

Alan Belcher -280
Jason MacDonald +220

Jake Shields -200
Jake Ellenberger +160
