After watching two of the biggest odds-on favorites fall last weekend at “Strikeforce: HW GP Semifinals,” it’s time to see if there will be any upset specials served up during tonight’s “UFC Fight Night 25: Battle on the Bayou” event.
The Octagon’s long-awaited return to Louisiana features a pivotal welterweight affair between Jake Ellenberger (Pictured) and Jake Shields. The former Strikeforce middleweight champ is nearly a 2-to-1 favorite to snap Ellenberger’s four-fight winning streak.
Ellenberger checks in as a slight +155 underdog.
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans will host the shindig. Spike TV’s broadcast of the event’s main bouts begins at 9PM ET/6PM PT.
