Before they battle it out for the UFC light heavyweight title, former champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and current title holder Jon “Bones” Jones will make an appearance on ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ tonight.
Jones is coming off the biggest win of his career at UFC 128 when he dispatched of Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and implanted himself as the world’s top 205-pound fighter.
Jackson, on the other hand, is looking for his third straight W after victories over Lyoto Machida and Matt Hamill, respectively.
Here’s the press release from UFC.com:
This weekend, light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and former light heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson will fight in the main event of UFC 135 in Denver, and the buildup between the athletes has been nothing if not tense.

It’s unknown at press time whether the third guest on the show, Dr. Phil, will be brought in to try and smooth things over between the two.
Jimmy Kimmel Live airs on ABC at midnight ET/PT.
UFC 135 takes place this Saturday night from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Spike TV will kick off the festivities at 8PM ET/5PM PT with “UFC 135: Prelims” before jumping straight into the live pay-per-view broadcast.
