Just when we thought that UFC 85 was finally set, the UFC announced two more changes to the card. Neil Wain was scheduled to fight Antoni Hardonk, but Wain suffered a broken nose, which has forced the UFC to fill his slot with Heavyweight Eddie Sanchez. Ryo Chonan (injured rib) has also been replaced by Kevin Burns in a fight against Roan Carneiro.

“Bedlam” is the proper name for the June 7th UFC event in London, as the event has seen so many changes it’s been hard to keep track.

The original main event for UFC 85 was supposed to be Chuck Liddell vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in a #1 contenders match for the UFC Light Heavyweight title. Rua re-injured his knee in training and he was replaced by Rashad Evans. Then, Liddell injured his hamstring during training which paved the way for James Irvin to fill in. Once Irvin sustained an injury during training, Evans was subsequently pulled off the card entirely.

Now the main event features two top-tier Welterweight fighters in former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes against rising young gun Thiago Alves.
