After a spectacular night of MMA action, UFC president Dana White awarded Nate Diaz (Pictured), Josh Koscheck, Jon Jones and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson each an additional $75,000 for their special performances Saturday night at “UFC 135: Jones vs. Rampage.”
Diaz earned ‘Submission of the Night’ honors by unleashing the most impressive showing of his career by tapping out Takanori Gomi with an armbar.
It took Koscheck a little bit of time to find his groove, but he ultimately put Matt Hughes to sleep to walk away with the ‘Knockout of the Night’ award.
According to White, the pay-per-view’s featured attraction lived up to its billing. Jones dazzled fans with his ridiculous game and had Rampage “mesmerized” for most of their light heavyweight title affair. Both 205-pounders walked away with ‘Fight of the Night,’ and more importantly, the $75k that goes along with it.
“UFC 135: Jones vs. Rampage” took place inside Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
