Before we head into this Saturday’s star-studded “UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III” event, it’s only fitting UFC president Dana White (Pictured) provides fans with behind-the-scenes footage of the company’s last pay-per-view broadcast.
The most interesting, and by interesting I mean disgusting, part of White’s latest video blog is the close up shot of the cut Quinton “Rampage” Jackson suffered above his right eye in his fight against light heavyweight king Jon Jones at UFC 135.
Based on Rampage’s conversation with White, it appears the former Pride FC superstar will in fact be competing in Japan this coming February.
The video also shows Jones in serious pain as he was limping backstage for his post-fight medicals.
UFC 136 takes place this Saturday inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. A lightweight title scrap between champ Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard will headline the show.
Featherweight champion Jose Aldo will defend his throne against Kenny Florian in the night’s co-featured attraction.
