On Saturday morning, UFC president Dana White and THQ unveiled the cover boy for “UFC Undisputed 3.” After tallying over 120,000 fan votes, it was determined reigning UFC middleweight king Anderson Silva will grace the cover of the video game’s third edition.

Polls were open between August 26th through September 30th. Fanboys were allowed to choose from one of five current UFC champions – Silva, Frankie Edgar, Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones or Cain Velasquez – to appear on the game’s box.

Silva holds the UFC record for most successful title defenses with nine. “The Spider” owns a dominant 31-4 record and was last seen cruising to a TKO victory over Yushin Okami at UFC 134.

UFC Undisputed 3 is currently in development for the XBox 360 and PlayStation3 consoles. The game is scheduled to hit shelves in January 2012.
