It appears some editing will need to be done to the “ProElite II: Big Guns” event poster. On Monday morning, heavyweight Pedro Rizzo announced he had been stung by the injury bug and will be forced out of his main event bout against Tim Sylvia.

“Unfortunately I got injured, training here in Holland, had a partial tear in the triceps’ tendon of my left arm,” Rizzo tweeted moments ago. “So i would like to apologize to the Pro Elite and specially to Tim Sylvia because i can’t be in the ring on November 5th to face him.

“I think i am in the prime of my condition and i’m really very frustrated with what happened. I hope to recover as quickly as possible to get back! Because my happiness is still in the ring!”

No word from the company regarding their next move.

ProElite’s second event of 2011 takes place inside the iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois. Plenty of fighters are rumored to participate in the show, however only the heavyweight scrap between Andrei Arlovski and Travis Fulton has been confirmed.

Here is the roster as it currently stands:

Eight-Man Heavyweight Tournament:

Individual Bouts:

Tara LaRosa vs. TBD

Reagan Penn vs. TBD

Tim Sylvia vs. TBD

Andrei Arlovski vs. Travis Fulton
