Shortly after announcing they had scored a broadcasting deal with HDNet, ProElite released the eight up-and-coming contestants that will be competing in their heavyweight tournament on November 5th.
The tourney’s pairings are as follows; Mark Ellis fights Ryan Martinez, Jason Bosler battles Richard Odoms, Chris Birchler faces Jake Heun and Walter Harris collides with Esteves Jones.
Todd Monaghan confronts a yet-to-be announced opponent in a heavyweight tournament reserve bout.
“When we say we’re looking for the next great heavyweight this was not a half-hearted search. We have eight guys from eight different regions of the country. We have both coasts, the South, Midwest, Southwest and Mountain region covered,” stated ProElite head of fight operations T. Jay Thompson.
“ProElite II: Big Guns” takes place inside the iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois. A heavyweight battle between Tim Sylvia and Andreas Kraniotakes will headline the show.
