“UFC 137: Penn vs. Diaz” Betting Odds

UFC Welterweight Nick Diaz

The bright side of not having welterweight king Georges St-Pierre fighting at UFC 137 is that the card’s current main event is expected to be much more competitive, at least if you were to ask the Gambling Gods.

While GSP was a heavy favorite to steamroll Nick Diaz (Pictured), and then Carlos Condit when the unexpected swap was made, the show’s new featured attraction between BJ Penn and Diaz is a much closer call to make.

Penn is a slight -120 odds-on favorite to beat Diaz, while the former Strikeforce champion checks in narrowly behind at -110.

The Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada will host next Saturday’s event.
