UFC 137 may have lost a little bit of luster when Georges St-Pierre was forced to bow out of the main event against Carlos Condit, but that doesn’t mean the card’s new featured attraction can’t pick up the slack.
In fact, according to the Gambling Gods the welterweight scrap between BJ Penn (Pictured) and Nick Diaz will be much more competitive from a betting standpoint.
As showtime steadily approaches, it appears the chips are starting to stack on Penn’s side of the sand. The Hawaiian is slowly pulling away and has emerged a -135 favorite.
Just a few days ago Penn checked in as a -110 odds-on favorite. Diaz, on the other hand, is now a +105 underdog.
The Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada will host Saturday’s event.
