How would you like to get paid for posting on your Twitter page? Well, the UFC has just announced their Twitter bonus winners for quarter-one. Needless to say, the Brazilians ran roughshod of the competition by taking eight of the 12 available commission checks.

Middleweight king Anderson Siva (Pictured), Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Demian Maia all double-dipped and walked away with $10,000 each. #Winning

Tweeting Rules and Regulations:

All current Zuffa fighters were separated into FOUR divisions. The Twitter divisions were based on how many followers they currently had on the blue-birded network.

The company selects FOUR division winners from each of the THREE categories at the end of every quarter (Zuffa put this plan into effect on June 1st).

Winners were based on:

1) Who has gained the most followers since the start of the quarter.
2) Which fighter garnered the highest percentage of new followers.
3) Who posted the most creative tweets. (Determined by Dana White)

Winners will receive a $5,000 bonus.

In all, Octagon brass will shell out $240,000/year to their most productive tweeters.

Here are Q1’s winners:

Most Followers by Division: Anderson Silva (@SpiderAnderson), Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (@MinotauroMMA), Demian Maia (@DemianMaia) and Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos (@CrisCyborg)

Biggest % Growth in Followers During Q1: Anderson Silva, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Demian Maia and Paulo Thiago (@PauloThiagoMMA)

Most Creative Tweets: Forrest Griffin (@ForrestGriffin) Joe Lauzon (@JoeLauzon) Ben Henderson (@SmoothOne155) and Joseph Benavidez (@JoeB135)
