Rory MacDonald Injured, Out of UFC 140 Fight Against Brian Ebersole

On Tuesday evening, the world’s premier mixed martial arts promotion announced up-and-coming welterweight Rory MacDonald (Pictured) had suffered an undisclosed injury that will force him out of his UFC 140 scrap against Brian Ebersole.

Ebersole will now face Claude Patrick, who was originally slated to fight Rich Attonito in the December 10th event.

Attonito will remain in the show as a preliminary card contestant, as the UFC is currently scouring the globe for a replacement.

UFC 140 takes place inside the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada. A light heavyweight title tilt between champion Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida headlines the pay-per-view broadcast.
