UFC 140‘s game of musical welterweight chairs is now complete. Jake Hecht has agreed to play substitute and face Rich Attonito in his big league debut.
Attonito was slated to meet Claude Patrick in the December 10th show, but Patrick was promoted to a main card bout against Brian Ebersole after Rory MacDonald was forced to bow out with an undisclosed injury.
A light heavyweight title tilt between champion Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida headlines the pay-per-view broadcast.
A rematch with former heavyweight champs Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will serve as the night’s co-featured attraction.
