Post-Fight Press Conference Notes:

Dana White reported 14,019 fans packed the arena, garnering the company a $1.1 million live gate.

Velasquez has no complaints about his stoppage.

White makes it clear that their FOX deal doesn’t actually begin until January 2012. Says it went seamlessly.

Dos Santos said he hurt his knee prior to the fight.

Ben Henderson says he can do a lot better than what we saw tonight, but he’ll take a win any way he can get it.

Velasquez said he didn’t want to force anything. His game plan was to go for the takedown if it was there.

White took a ‘we’ll see what happens’ approach regarding Cain and JDS rematch. The heavyweight division is stacked.

White confirmed that Henderson vs. Edgar title bout will take place February in Japan. The 155-pound affair will headline the show.

White estimates that 60 million people watched JDS win the heavyweight title in Brazil.

Dos Santos predicts Brock Lesnar will beat Alistair Overeem.

White claims Brazil is becoming “our new Canada.”
