Dos Santos says he’s very happy with the result and he feels great.
Ben Henderson says he can do a lot better than what we saw tonight, but he’ll take a win any way he can get it.
Guida states Henderson is a warrior. He thinks everyone wanted two more rounds. “Don’t forget about the hair.” – How can we?
Velasquez said he didn’t want to force anything. His game plan was to go for the takedown if it was there.
White took a ‘we’ll see what happens’ approach regarding Cain and JDS rematch. The heavyweight division is stacked.
JDS says his game plan was to keep the fight standing up. He was waiting for Cain’s kicks.
White confirmed that Henderson vs. Edgar title bout will take place February in Japan. The 155-pound affair will headline the show.
White estimates that 60 million people watched JDS win the heavyweight title in Brazil. JDS says he’s “famous” now.
Henderson believes he matches up well with Frankie Edgar. He has to do a better job sticking to the gameplan in his bout with Edgar.
JDS says he has no preference between Lesnar and Overeem. Wants to go back to Brazil and have a big BBQ with family. Picks Brock.
White claims it was the “perfect night” and “nothing went wrong” with FOX broadcast.
JDS states he’s feeling “amazing” because it was an important fight for all of MMA.
Bruce Leeroy says with two UFC losses, he felt tonight was his last shot and actually kept him calm.
Guida claims he’s gotta get back to what got him here, his wrestling. Thought he had the edge there, but says Henderson has heavy hips.
Velasquez says if he has to take on Cheick Kongo again, he will if that’ll get him back into the title picture.
White says Brazil has so much talent coming from there. He says the next two years will be crazy.
White adds that TUF Brazil will take place “soon, very soon. Immediately.”
White’s response to haters… “We’ve been on TV for six years, Coalition of I have nothing better to do.”
He added that tonight the UFC eased their way into television to educate the mainstream.
White claims Brazil is becoming “our new Canada.” You’re going to see more kids training for MMA than soccer. Doesn’t know TUF Brazil coaches.
White thanks his entire team, the fighters and the media that have been supporting MMA since the beginning.
