Apparently, nobody notified Kelli Hutcherson (Pictured) that the mortgage industry is currently in the dumps. On Monday afternoon, the Strikeforce ring girl announced her card-carrying days will soon be a thing of the past.
“My new job is at a mortgage company : ) still with @Strikeforce but dec 17 is my last fight. Sorry to drop that bomb but it wasn’t up to me,” Hutcherson tweeted. “You guys will love the new Strikeforce ring girl! She is UH MAZING! I promise you.”
Her final lap around the hexagon will come at “Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Masvidal” inside the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California. Hutcherson announced Corinne Solomon will be taking her place.
For the first time in her Hall of Fame career, Strikeforce’s queen bee made Maxim’s exclusive ‘Hot 100’ list this past May. Hutcherson made her debut at #93.
The bright side for fight fans is that Brittney Palmer will soon be circling the UFC’s Octagon once again.
