It doesn’t happen too often following a UFC event, however the Oregon State Athletic Commission has medically suspended every fighter that competed in Saturday’s UFC 102 show. Granted, most are serving the “mandatory minimum suspension” of seven days, however no other state’s Commission enforces the “required” week off.
Middleweight Ed Herman received the worst news of them all as it appears he may be out for a minute after blowing-out his knee in the 2ndRound against Aaron Simpson. Herman will require clearance from a physician before he can resume any activity.
