Thanks to Dan Henderson and the generous fans that purchased the ‘Hendo UFC 139 Walkout Tee’ he wore this past Saturday in his epic battle against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, almost 8,000 people at the San Diego Rescue Mission and the Denver Rescue Mission will be able to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with their loved ones.

“So @ClinchGear sent checks to @SD_Rescue & @denverrescue today to feed nearly 2000 total families of 4 on Thanksgiving–thx to all of you!” Henderson tweeted Wednesday night.

For every $29.95 t-shirt that was sold (Pictured above), Henderson’s Clinch Gear clothing company donated 100 percent of the net proceeds – at least $7.50 from the sale of each shirt – to help out during these rough economic times.

The awesomeness doesn’t stop there, because the fundraiser was so successful that Henderson will continue his efforts to ensure Christmas dinner will be just as joyful.

“Due to success of the promo, we’re going to keep it going & provide free meals on Christmas, too,” Henderson added.

The front graphic of Henderson’s walkout tee says “Heart & Mind Overcome All” and includes a subtle image of Dan’s face inside the letters. The motto of the shirt represents Henderson’s willingness to face all challengers and preserver despite obvious disadvantages in size, strength or weight.
