While most of America is trying to enjoy Thanksgiving day, the UFC continues to crank out fight announcements. Shortly after confirming a pair of featherweight scraps for UFC 142, the organization reported Kamal Shalorus (Pictured) will welcome Khabib Nurmagomedov into the Octagon at “UFC on FX.”

Following an impressive run in the WEC, Shalorus is searching for his first win in the big leagues. The only loss on his resume came in a TKO defeat to Jim Miller at UFC 128.

Nurmagomedov owns a perfect 16-0 professional record. His past six fights have all ended in the 1stRound, four by way of submission and two via TKO.

The lightweight shootout goes down January 20th in the UFC’s debut on FX.

Interestingly enough, five days after UFC president Dana White claimed the show wouldn’t take place in Nashville, Tennessee, it appears the card will in fact go down in the Volunteer State. The Bridgestone Arena will likely play host.

Here are the athletes slated to appear in the freebie fight card:

Rafaello Oliveira vs. Reza Madadi

Kamal Shalorus vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov

Pat Barry vs. Christian Morecraft

Josh Neer vs. Duane Ludwig

Jim Miller vs. Melvin Guillard (Three-Round Fight)
