On Friday, Dream announced lightweight champion Shinya Aoki (Pictured) will defend his title against Satoru Kitaoka on their New Year’s Eve extravaganza.
Aoki has rattled off wins in nine out of his past ten scraps, including six straight. His lone blemish during his current run came in a convincing loss to Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez.

The Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan will host “Dream: Fight for Japan. How are you! New Year! 2011.″
HDNet will broadcast the extravaganza in the United States, but no word if the airing will be available live or via tape-delay.
