Well, if Takanori Gomi is going to get another shot inside the Octagon, then it only makes sense Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto (Pictured) should, as well. The UFC has announced the Japanese superstar will face Vaughan Lee in their February 26th event.
Yamamoto has lost four of his last five contests, including his only two bouts in the big leagues. He dropped a unanimous decision to Darren Uyenoyama earlier this month at “UFC on FOX.”
The bantamweight brawl marks Lee’s follow up fight with the promotion. He lost to Chris Cariaso in his UFC debut.
The Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan will host the event. A lightweight title scrap between champion Frankie Edgar and Ben Henderson is scheduled to headline the card.
No word from the UFC on how the show will be made available for viewing.
