UFC 142 Fight Card Updated, 11 Bouts Confirmed for Brazil

On Tuesday, a welterweight battle between Mike Pyle (Pictured) and Paulo Thiago, as well as a heavyweight scrap with Ednaldo Oliveira and Rob Broughton were added to the UFC 142 lineup. The January 14th event takes place in a yet-to-be announced city in Brazil.

The organization is expected to announce a twelfth bout for the card shortly.

Featherweight champ Jose Aldo defends his throne against Chad Mendes in the night’s featured attraction. A middleweight shootout with Vitor Belfort and Anthony Johnson will serve as the co-main event.

The UFC is still determining which city and venue will host the fiesta, however Rio de Janeiro’s HSBC Arena is the current frontrunner to win the bid.

The pay-per-view broadcast will air live in the United States at 10PM ET/7PM PT.
