Oh, Canada! Not only will you Canadians be treated to watching Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida battle inside of the Octagon, but it appears you’ll also be the first to witness Brittney Palmer’s (Pictured) highly-anticipated return when she circles the outside of the cage at UFC 140.
On Thursday afternoon, the world’s premier mixed martial arts promotion confirmed Palmer will resume her duties of alerting fans as to which rounds will be forthcoming on December 10th.
This past June, the former WEC queen bee had released several cryptic tweets leading up to UFC 132 that had many believing she was being forced out of the organization. Palmer’s ring girl profile was removed from UFC.com shortly after.
However, White later claimed she was never released and Palmer’s profile miraculously reappeared on the company’s website.
She subsequently left the UFC to attend art school.
Last month, UFC president Dana White conducted a poll on Twitter to see if fans wanted her to resume her card-carrying duties. Five minutes later, White revealed the unanimous decision rendered by hormone-driven teenagers from across the globe and brought Palmer back to rejoin Arianny Celeste and Chandella Powell.
UFC 140 takes place inside the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
