The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the official salaries for all of the contestants that competed in the past Saturday’s “The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale.”
As expected, Michael Bisping (Pictured), the card’s biggest and most controversial star, was the night’s highest paid athlete. “The Count” pocketed $425,000 for his lopsided TKO victory over Jason Miller in the show’s featured attraction.
“Mayhem,” on the other hand, left Las Vegas with a cool $45k for his efforts.
Just in case you were wondering, Bisping earned $142,000 more than the entire fight card combined.
The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort hosted this weekend’s festivities.
Please keep in mind, the numbers that get reported to the athletic commissions are only of what’s required. These figures do not include deductions for items such as licenses and taxes.
Additionally, they do not contain money paid by sponsors or any bonuses from the UFC. These royalties can include pay-per-view commissions, Fight Night bonuses, top secret discretionary bonuses, etc., which can oftentimes represent a substantial portion of a fighter’s total income.
