UFC Rashad Evans

With tickets for “UFC on FOX: Evans vs. Davis” set to go on sale tomorrow, the planet’s most prestigious MMA organization has announced a slew of scraps for the January 28th event.

Jon Olav Einemo vs. Mike Russow, Demetrious Johnson vs. Eddie Wineland, Cub Swanson vs. George Roop, Cody McKenzie vs. Michael Johnson and Evan Dunham vs. Paul Sass were all confirmed for the show late Monday night.

A light heavyweight top contender bout between Rashad Evans and Phil Davis headlines the freebie fight card. Speaking of #1 contender tangos, middleweights Mark Munoz and Chael Sonnen will serve as the co-main event to determine who gets next dibs at Anderson Silva’s title.

Unlike last month’s hour-long premiere on FOX, the UFC’s follow-up on primetime television is expected to run two hours and showcase four live fights. No word on which bouts will join the top contender contests on the main card.

The United Center in Chicago will host the Octagon’s return to Illinois.

Here are the athletes slated to perform in The Windy City:

Jon Olav Einemo vs. Mike Russow

Demetrious Johnson vs. Eddie Wineland

Cub Swanson vs. George Roop

Cody McKenzie vs. Michael Johnson

Evan Dunham vs. Paul Sass

Mark Munoz vs. Chael Sonnen

Phil Davis vs. Rashad Evans
